Platinum modern Maki-e is one of the techniques, which is done by silk screen printing, under the layer and finished by a Maki-e craftsman’s hand one by one. The Platinum Modern Maki-e Phoenix Fountain Pen features a phoenix design, silk screen printed over the black resin barrel and then delicately hand finished by a Maki-e craftsman.
