J. Herbin is the oldest name in fountain pen inks in the world. J. Herbin created the La Perle des Encres “The Jewel of Inks” in his shop on the Rue des Fosses Saint-Germain in Paris in 1700. J Herbin bottled ink uses all natural dyes and is pH neutral. J. Herbin Ink Cartridges Perle Noire is compatible with most fountain pens using a standard international size ink cartridge or converter. Each pack of six ink cartridges comes packaged in a cylindrical metal tin.
