Since its launch in 1924, Montblanc's Meisterstück has been widely regarded as the quintessential fine writing instrument, symbolising refined taste and a bold extension of oneself. To honour this milestone, Montblanc delved deep into its archives and created the "Origin" collection, paying homage to the brand's rich history and heritage. The collection draws inspiration from early, previously unreleased prototypes, as well as design features found in the earliest Meisterstück editions, capturing the founding spirit and infusing it with a modern flair.

The Montblanc Meisterstück The Origin Collection Doué Blue LeGrand Fountain Pen features an intricate pattern on the cap, coated with blue lacquer and platinum; this design harks back to an unreleased prototype that had been hidden away for decades, giving Montblanc the opportunity to finally introduce this design reminiscent of the Art Déco period. The clip is an homage to early clip shapes found in some of the first Meisterstücks, evoking a sense of nostalgia. Upon closer inspection, one can discover the original Meisterstück logo, which has adorned the cap as a symbol of exceptional quality since its inception. This jubilee edition is crowned with a rhodium-coated Au750 solid gold nib, proudly displaying the number "100", along with the years "1924" and "2024".
