There is a distinct detail in this major masterpiece: The flowing, organic pattern adorning the dress that the woman wears serve as inspiration for the striking, ornamental design of this special edition. The fascinating finish with a hologram effect brings the fountain pen to life and makes it radiate an irresistible appeal. The lovingly designed barrel is made using the sophisticated “Aurora” method. First, a brass tube is processed, engraved, and given an application of guilloche; wafer-thin grooves that achieve the special, light-reflecting hologram effect. With ten layers of clear lacquer, the writing instrument has a smooth, even surface on which a coloured image design is printed after polishing. The cap, front section, and piston grip of this elegant piston-filling fountain pen is made of high-quality translucent teal resin, while the 14-carat two-tone gold nib glides smoothly and expressively across the paper. The golden decorative elements, as well as the characteristic double rings and the Pelikan-typical beak-shaped clip, are elegantly plated with 24-carat gold.
